There are 30 contestants. Here are some fun notable facts.
When asked:
What animal would you be?
Five women answered DOLPHIN
One answered Pegasus.
One answered Wild Mustang… (remember Jade from Prince Farming’s season? Her dad called her a “wild mustang” presumably because she posed for Playboy? This leaves me wondering about our new wild mustang)
If you could be a fictional character, who would it be?
SEVEN would be a Disney Princess.
Four of those seven would be Ariel “because Mermaid” (there is a direct correlation between dolphin lovers and Ariel wannabes)
Five would be Olivia Pope.
One would be Katniss Everdeen.
One would be Hermione Granger. (This is the same person who said she would be Pegasus… she is my spirit animal until further notice)
Do you have a special diet?
One contestant answered that she is “Pesco-pollo-lacto-ovo-paro-tarian” – which apparently means she will only eat Fish and Birds and their by-products.Do with that what you will.
Overall, it looks like there is plenty of crazy girl to go around, with just enough normal, nice, strong willed, brunettes sprinkled in for Nick to find someone he might really like.
Three more thoughts, and I am out:
1) Jasmine G, the Pro Basketball Dancer(Golden State Warriors), not sure what the “G” stands for, but a few years ago, she was on a show called “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team” as Jasmine Raphaella. She actually made the team and was a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader for a couple years (ending after the 2015 -2016 season. Don’t ask how I know this, just go with it.) If I were her, I would want my job title to be “former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader”. The last DCC on the Bachelor was Melissa Rycroft… the woman semi-famous for winning and then being dumped for the runner up by the original balcony crier Jason. Melissa brilliantly parlayed her heartbreak into becoming a Mirror Ball trophy winner on Dancing with the Stars and several tv hosting gigs. Hopefully Jasmine has Melissa in her corner.
2) While I read through the bios and yes, kept a running tally of dolphin and Ariel lovers, I also made a note that reads “Liz – admits to picking nose in the car… calling it now, she will be Top 3. Frontrunner”. But then I read that there is a big secret and “scandal” surrounding her… so let’s see what happens!!!
3) Lastly, my first overall impression of the cast photo was… “Merlin’s Beard!!! That girl is in a dolphin suit!” followed quickly by “Is Nick a giant?”
